I tried to look up directions on how to get there. Google maps doesn't have that fine detail. I might have to ask you directions one day. I wouldn't want to get lost out there with little water.
The Golden Spike historic site website warns to not trust your GPS to get to the site. Fortunately, there's excellent signage along the route. It's a very pleasant drive from Ogden (52 miles) or Brigham City. Ogden is an especially cool city.
