Day 21. Fillmore to Salt Lake City, 150 miles. Fillmore was the territorial capitol of Utah. Ggovernor Brigham Young centrally placed it there and named the town and county, Millard, after the president to get on his good side. We walked around the large town square to see some of the old buildings. Later we had lunch at Cracker Barrel and went through the John Hutching's museum of natural history in Lehi. Small but interesting.
Traffic heading into Salt Lake City at 3PM was horrible. A long stretch of interstate south of the city was 7 lanes wide, bumper to bumper. We plan to be here tomorrow and then move on to Ogden.
