Day 27. Ogden, Utah to Rock Springs, Wyoming,  182 miles. We drove up through the mountains of Utah to the high prairie of western Wyoming. Interesting bad lands and cliffs approaching Green River, WY where John Wesley Powell put his boats in the river on his journey through Utah and the Grand Canyon.
We stopped at historic Ft Bridger, originally a fur trading post, later a major stop on the Mormon, Oregon and California trails.  Only tourists and marmots are active at the fort now. Next door to it was a neat, fixed up original Lincoln Highway camp built in 1929.
Off to Lander, WY tomorrow.
