334 miles from Le Claire, Iowa to Fremont, Nebraska,  the 6th largest town in the state. We crossed the Missouri River into Nebraska on Rt 30, the old Lincoln Highway. But before leaving Iowa we stopped in Walnut, the antique city. They had an antique market this weekend and the downtown blocks were filled with street vendors and many antique shops and booths. We moved quickly and didn' buy anything. The owner of the best shop says Railroad items disappear immediately and we should keep everything we've got.
It is 92 outside and sunny. Lots of wild sunflowers along the highway. Tomorrow we will continue west and maybe see a few old Lincoln Highway points of interest on route to North Platte.
