Tucson Alice on the loose. The train engine is real and was used in many westerns filmed here. This place was the town from the Little House on the Prairie TV series.

  1. What a quirky and cool looking train. I bet Pete was drooling over that supersized head lamp and how he could get that in the Jeep.

    1. Marc, you know me all too well. In this case it was also the beautiful bell I was 'lusting' over!

    2. Sounds like a funny thing to say, but they do not need any more authentic supersized train head lamps! Do not give them any ideas!

  2. I wonder if the Elixir trade sign was modeled after a real one. Very nice. Maybe it is a real one.

    1. Good question. This sign was plywood. Not an original.

  3. I assume Pete took off his salmon colors long johns and was bathing while T was standing guard.

  4. T mentioned in private that after long hours in the desert sun you needed a good soak.
Do they still offer shaves for a nickle? I know how you like those straight edge razors of old.
