Day-6:  we drove from Ironwood MI to Duluth MN, 108 miles.  Along the way we stopped at a Chinese restaurant in Superior, amazingly not a buffet and equally amazing not very good.  In Duluth we spent a couple of hours at a first-rate, big railroad museum located in a huge, historic depot.  The collections on display there include everything from small paper and hardware items, to lanterns and big brass bells, to whole trains and gigantic locomotives. A very impressive place, as good a RR museum as any we've visited.  Mom learned of it online.  We'll be in Duluth for two nights.
